Expertise / Credentials

Emilie’s areas of expertise are: (i) global restructurings and transactions, (ii) global mobility, (iii) international expansions/GEOs, (iv) co-determination law, (v) collective labor law and (vi) contingent workforce law.

She has a broad scale experience with HR compliance services, HR restructurings and transactions, redundancies (and closure of businesses), as well as consultation & negotiation procedures with works councils and trade unions. Emilie has been involved with numerous legal entity rationalizations and operating modeling effectiveness projects.

Emilie coordinated and advised on numerous establishments of global employment organizations and led various international expansion projects.

Additional information

Emilie joined HVG Law in 2014 and was several times seconded to Donahue & Partners in New York and Houston.

She graduated both in Dutch law (specialized in labor and employment law) in 2010 and Dutch tax law in 2011 at the Erasmus University of Rotterdam, the Netherlands.

Emilie is licensed and admitted to the Dutch Bar Association.
